PLAY in the North Country!

In Canton-Potsdam and the North Country, there are a bewildering number of great things to do. You won’t get bored here! Whatever your interest, it awaits you in the North Country. From sports and outdoor recreation to museums and attractions, history, arts, culture, and entertainment, the North Country is a great place to have fun.
Our location is the key, as we are remote yet in the middle of everything. Our rural landscape boasts the St. Lawrence Seaway, rolling farmlands, peaceful forests, and friendly communities. We are an hour and a half from Canada’s national capital of Ottawa. The Olympic Village of Lake Placid is an hour-and-a half to the southeast, in the majestic Adirondack Mountains. Montreal and Burlington, VT, are only a few hours’ drive. The Thousand Islands region is a little over an hour away. And the urban centers of Boston and New York City are within a day’s drive.

...but you won’t feel the need to go too far away too often!

Check out these resources that provide examples of what is available to meet your recreational interests – the opportunities are far too extensive to share everything in one place. As always, contact us so we can share our intimate knowledge of the area with you, so you can pack in as much fun as possible!
